Our Story

Our Handcrafted fine artisan fudge is made from a traditional family recipe handed down from generation to generation of fine New Zealand bred cooks and now carried on by myself in my rural home on the Snowy Mountains of New South Wales, Australia.

I began making traditional butter fudge as a kid in my mother’s kitchen along with my sister, where we would boil the ingredients for hours, then hand beat it until it was thick and creamy. Watched closely by our Nan and Mother who ensured not only that the ingredients used where the finest and freshest but that the recipe stayed true exactly as it should be and made with a little love, laughter and enjoyment as we all shared the final reward. Since then, from those same original recipes, I have derived a perfectly creamy range of melt in your mouth flavours that will leave you wanting more.

OutBack fudge is handmade by me in our custom-built kitchen using those same traditional boiling and creaming techniques perfected so many years ago. We use the freshest Australian milk and butter combined with the finest quality ingredients and carefully selected natural flavours to create a mouth-watering fudge that will satisfy the senses and bring a smile to both young and old alike.

There are twelve delicious flavours to choose from. Our traditional range is sure to have a flavour to suit the most discerning of taste buds whilst our Australian native flavours are full of exciting delights that are sure to please and leave you wanting more.
